You will be taken into a separate area before entering the MRI suite at the iVIE MRI Screening Center. A locker will be provided for secure storage of your personal belongings, and you may need to wear a hospital gown during the scan.

Our MRI room houses a tube-like machine at its center. You will be asked to lie down on a movable scanning bed that slides into the MRI machine. Our technologist will position you according to the specific imaging protocol ordered by your physician, ensuring your comfort with pillows and blankets.

Our technologist will then operate the MRI machine from an adjoining room, monitoring you via a two-way intercom and video camera.

Once the scan is complete, our radiographer will help you off the table. You can then get dressed, collect your belongings, and leave the iVIE MRI suite.

Results from the MRI scan at iVIE MRI Screening Center are not immediately available. They are analyzed by a radiologist who will send a report to your doctor within one to two weeks.
